i have only owned this microwave for a little under 2 years and the display has already partially gone out. very frustrating as the warranty expired after the 1st year. this microwave came with my new home purchase, so i was not given an option to extend the warranty as the original warranty was given to the builder.

this has been the worst buying experience that i have ever had. i purchased this product in january 2021. after exactly one year, this microwave would not turn off after i opened the door to take out my food. it continued to run. samsung advised me to take it to a specific repair shop near me. however, i was told that they did not work on samsung products. samsung then sent a repair person out who could not duplicate the problem. now, instead of reimbursing me, as i was told they would do, they are sending another repair person out. in the meantime, i have been without my microwave for almost a month. all of this for a microwave that cost only a little over $200. shame on samsung. do not buy this product from them.

I purchased my newly constructed home and this was installed by the builder. The microwave is my most used appliance since I meal prep and eat 5-6 meals a day. I like the features for warming and reheating, and how it is spacious inside. It is convenient to add extra heating time with one button. Appearance wise, I like how it fits so well as a built in and the blue inside is very nice. One of my 2 complaints is that after only 6 months, the open button is starting to stick. When it happened for the first time recently, I had to press the button hard several times for it to open. This lasted for a few days & then was back to almost normal. I'm not sure if it has something to do with my 2nd complaint- it gets very steamy inside and stays that way after heating food. I wonder if it was so steamy inside that it got to the mechanism that opens the door when pressed. Maybe the moisture was causing it to stick (I can't confirm, but if it happens again, I will utilize my warranty and request service). I've used plenty of other microwaves that got steamy, I expect that, but this one gets excessively steamy that the condensation drips down the door & the inside stays wet. The only way for the inside to dry it out is to leave the door open or wipe the entire interior surface. Overall a good product, but the 2 complaints are annoying and I hope neither cause any issues that affect the lifetime of microwave.

bought it brand new with surround, and from day one it vibrated, intermittently during cooking. we took it out tightened all screws, reinstalled (built in) ..same. we noticed the sound decreased when putting pressure on the bottom of the unit in certain areas. now 14 months later, it vibrates all the time. there are numerous posts about this, however no solutions. unfortunate,...our samsung refrigerator required repair w/in the first 2 months due to leaky icemaker, the dishwasher is the only thing (knock wood) that so far has been fine.

Bought this microwave about 6 months ago and use it daily.
Very dependable.
The blue interior makes it stand out from others in the field.
Only issue is the sound from startup that last about 8 to 10 seconds and then reverts to a normal range.
I guess this is inherent in all microwaves.

from the very beginning ive had issues with this model. i ended up having this installed as a built in with the trim kit but had to use as a countertop until the installer was available. i purchased 3 microwaves because the first 2 were wobbly and uneven on my counter.it is very loud when in operation and not very user friendly as my previous ge.
now a few months after my manufacturer warranty has expired the microwave no longer heats food. very disappointing and i shouldve taken heed to the reviews about this microwave.

I recently purchased a home that came with new Samsung appliances, so these must be the cheapest ones. This is actually under the counter, which I don't care for. I would prefer if the buttons were lit, since they are very difficult to read at night. And I have already had the big button that opens the door get stuck in the depressed position, so it does not bode well for reliability.

This microwave is HUGE!
The exterior is classy and modern, interior color at first seemed strange but the dark color has definetly grown on me. The sensor cooking is pretty darn accurate, just follow the chart. The power output is a little weak in its base setting, but it's energy efficient and you can always turn up the watts.

It does everything you expect and more. It's great; it's pretty big so you don't have to worry about whether or not that tall cup or huge plate will fit in there, because it will. And I just love all the sensor cook and auto cook features!

Microwave lasted just 15 months. display has error code that the internet has full of comments about it happening. They do not make good on what is a known deficiency. Warranty is only a year despite knowing this defect is a very common issue. Now i have go worry when my TV's will start breaking down. Quality is not what it was i guess. I bought due to Brand loyalty...a mistake that will never happen again. Zero stars are not an option...STAY AWAY....

My husband purchased this microwave for me on 10/02/18 from Home Depot as a surprise gift, but was unable to give it to me until yesterday. When I registered it today, I noted that the manufacturer warranty expired in August, 2018, well before my husband purchased it. I contacted Samsung and was assured that Samsung will warrant our microwave for 12 months from the purchase date. I'm still learning how to use it!

My over the range unit from a different supplier went out so I needed a backup until our other could repaired. Bought the Samsung counter top and took it home. I don't think it was really right from the start, but we thought it was us. It totally quit working after 2 days. I called Home Depot and they were willing to exchange for another of the same model they had in stock. This one seems to be working but is really quite loud when in operation. We keep waiting for this one to also go out but it still seems to be working after a week. Like I said in the title - OK so far. It will take a while for us to feel confident about it.

I got this new and put trim kit around it. Now the door stopped functioning ( push button goes with ease ). Called customer service several times but they are not understanding the problem. I am asked to take it to service center but it requires the door to be open, then only I can unscrew trim kit and carry to the service center.
I do not recommend this product because it failed within 6 months.
