we just made the misfortunate mistake of purchasing this range. the large burner literally provides heat only to the direct center of the burner. there is a full 2-2.5 inches around the edge of the skillet that gets no heat. the result is in the photo: anything along the edges of the pan doesn't cook, while whatever in the center will burn up. i used an infrared thermometer to check an empty pan on heat setting 7. the middle of the pan? 225f. edges? 158f. all of my pans are induction compatible. i bought this unit 18 days ago. i was unable to fully understand how poorly this unit performs until now. after initially promising to "start the refund process", now samsung is outright refusing - and i purchased their 3 year extended warranty. run, run, run.

the oven does not actually do remote start. the instructions lead you to believe that this functionally will work but it requires physically starting rhe oven. thus any hopes of starting the oven and cooking while you are out is not available. should be called remote monitoring instead.

has 4 burners and 3 are small and do not effectively transfer heat to a normal pot. have to use the one large burner or cannot boil water with tea kettle in reasonable amount of time. temp of burners does not control well so food either boiling over or not boiling at all. front panel difficult to clean with knobs should have a touch panel. main button required to access other controls like oven light. have to activate the main button, then press the light button, then turn the oven options off. 3 presses + should be 1. try adjust oven temperature sometimes doesn't set the temperature i specified. happens often when change temperature from 350 to 400. rotate knob then it seems to take the higher temperature, but then a few minutes later there is no change

I purchased the NE63T8951SS/AA. First of all, this stove is gorgeous! Its looks rival any other brand out there. Not having a "backsplash" on the stove makes it so much more attractive. It boils water in about 1.5 minutes. Unfortunately, those are the pros. The cons are: 1) I had to purchase all new pots and pans because only certain kinds work with induction. 2) The burners are 4 different sizes, with only one being a large. 3) The stove makes a 'whining' noise for several minutes while it's cooling down. 4) The oven self clean option smells so bad I don't use it and the steam clean option leaves a huge puddle on the floor of the oven that I have to clean out. 5) For some reason, the air fryer requires the use of the whole oven. Wouldn't you think you would use the half oven? 6) In order to use the half oven, there is a solid metal insert that goes into a certain spot in the middle. So, if I want to use the entire oven, I have to REMOVE this heavy insert and find someplace to store it. So, all in all, if I only purchased this range to make my kitchen look fabulously modern it is a clear winner. But daily use of the range just continues to bring up issues that I don't care for. I do like that the stovetop doesn't get burning hot, cools off fast.

i have had nothing but problems with this range. it was delivered with a big dent on the right side of the panel. but i still accepted it with a slight discount. couple days ago, we heard a loud popping sound, after that, the induction cooktop stopped working. and an error code c-f0 shows up on the digital display. so, i have a brand new range that's not working at all now. i have scheduled a service with samsung, but their local repair center just told me that they don't have the parts needed. and they don't know when they will get the parts. this is the absolutely worst experience i have with any kitchen appliances. i would not recommend this product to anyone.

We had a similar model stove before we got this one. I didn't expect it to be that much different. Once it arrived and we got the correct pans, it was like magic! We can boil water in close to two minutes. Dinner cooks so much faster when the pan is already ready to go as soon as you turn the burner on. I love that it's safe around my kids because the burner does not get hot. The top stays very clean because even if you spill something on it, it doesn't get burnt and stuck to it. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to a traditional oven. This one is amazing and I'm so happy I got it!

I was so excited to get an induction stove even after waiting so long to get it, I had to boil water just so I could test it out. My first experience using it was a learning curve. Just a simple pasta dinner but I walked away before turning down the pasta and had a large boil over. I was really upset that I had made this huge mess on my brand new stove and it seems the lip isn't is large as my old stove so I did have some on the floor. But it was worth it. It took no time to clean the large boil over from the stove top. Even after cooking for Thanksgiving it looks untouched. I was afraid I wouldn't like the convertible oven instead of the 2 separate ovens I was used to but there are advantages there as well. Its nice to have a full size cooking space when you are doing a large turkey.

We recently purchased a home and decided it was time for some nice appliances and since my wife loves to cook and bake, looking for an oven was top of the list. We had to wait a bit for delivery but it was worth every second and the oven worth every penny! It is amazing how quickly the induction top works to boil water. The double oven is amazing for cooking at 2 different temps and the air fryer inside works great as well. If you are looking for a great oven that will not disappoint, look no further. So many features and options! Happy wife = happy life!

Controls not well thought out

The range works fine so far, but why doesn't the temperature probe work with the upper oven? Why does only one of the stove top elements have the blue running lights? Why does the temperature only start reporting once the oven reaches 175? If you get tired of it beeping at you all the time, and turn off the sounds, it doesn't produce a sound when the timer goes off, or the oven reaches temperature, the only two times that you really want a beep.

A Great Range With All The Bells And Whistles

We had to wait a looooooooong time for this to be delivered (thanks, COVID), but it's finally here, and it is everything we hoped it would be. The advantages of induction over electric are numerous. I compared the time to boil four cups of water (cold from the tap) on the most powerful burners on both my electric and induction ranges. For electric, it took 5 minutes, 25 seconds. For induction, it only took 1 minute, 51 seconds! Additionally, temperature changes are extremely responsive. This is something that is similar to gas, but it blows the pants off electric. As we have small children, another big benefit is that the hobs are not molten-lava-hot after cooking. Compared to electric or gas, there are a few disadvantages. The first and most obvious one is that you need compatible cookware. If you are just starting your cookware collection or you have compatible cookware already, this might not be a big deal, but if you spent a lot of money on copper or non-stick cookware, you might have to shell out a good amount of money in addition to an already very expensive range. Secondly, there are no "half stops" between the numbers, so you only get nine levels of cooking. This is frustrating as some of the other models on the market do not have this limitation, and sometimes it can be very difficult to get a simmer going as it goes between "boil" and "hot." Again, not an issue on gas or electric. Finally, there is only one "large" burner, and the next biggest size is still fairly small, so cooking a pot of pasta and making a sauce in a saucepan is hard as the hob is way too small for one of them. The actual double oven is exactly what we expected. The Flex Duo is great, and the temp probe is great for things like a roast or lasagna. Air frying works wonderfully and can save a good amount of time vs. conventional methods. It's weird to me that they did not include two racks and instead only included one rack and one pull out shelf. This makes sense if you are using the Flex Duo divider, but if you aren't, you really need one more rack in the oven. Not a big deal as you can buy another one, but just a weird decision. SmartThings integration works as advertised. I do wish it could be preheated remotely without pressing a button on the front of it, but I understand the reasons for implementing it that way. Overall, a very good range if you can afford it. Hard to find one on the market with more features.

I received the 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Slide-In Induction Range with Flex Duo™, Smart Dial & Air Fry and I really love it. I had never used an induction stove before and was a litle worried about using it but All my worries wereput aside after using it for the first time. We had to purchase new pots and pans that had magnetic bottoms specifically made for the induction stove. I had never seen a pot of wath boil so fast! my wife seems tobe cooking the food in about half the time it normally takes. Which couldbe equally said about the oven. The double oven is the best. They can be set at two different temperatures and timers separately, which helps get dinner on the table much faster. Helping to multitask during dinner time. I get home late from work and soretiring have to heat up inyour dinner and everything is simple enough fer me to use with the smart dial. My wife saved in the favorites my settings for the leftovers and I just have to turn and press and it's going! Meals hour share been made so simple. The slide in range in stainless steel looks good in our kitchen and makes it all look fancy.

I had a chance to use it for a while now and boy let me tell you I love this range. It has everything I could possibly want, it's great looking and very efficient. I already have a favorite feature: it's being able to set the oven to turn off after timed cooking is finished, something my old oven could not do, the timer would just beep. I tried making 2 dishes in separate ovens and it worked flawlessly, the food was cooked to perfection. I was able to hide my countertop air fryer because I don't need it anymore. The air fry in this oven works as great as it should, and I love the added wire tray for this purpose. I always try to cook neatly so I haven't been able to try the self clean feature but I am happy that I can add water and turn it into steam clean. Another nice feature was asking google to set parameters of the oven, so convenient! And I love how the message about finished cooking pops up on my Samsung smart devices to let me know my food is ready :-) Although I give it 5 stars there are some things I don't like about it, for example, the virtual flame is only on the biggest burner. Why? Other pots don't deserve that cool feature? If I remember right, the previous model had all burners with virtual flame. I like the smart implementation in it, I can have some control over the oven on my phone, but the burners are "view only". The drawer on the bottom is smaller than my previous range so I had to move some of my things I keep in there somewhere else. Overall I love it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a range with an induction cooktop.

I'm absolutely in love with my new Samsung induction range! This thing is so fully loaded that I don't even know where to begin. This is my first time cooking on an induction top and I am blown away. Water boils faster than I ever thought was possible cutting down my cooking time. Spills and splashes are a cinch to clean up because they don't cook on the top. I bought a cover to protect it from scratches. The burners don't need to be adjusted to fit your pans and the power burner has a virtual flame which is awesome. I absolutely love the gliding rack. The no preheat air fry works amazingly so I can get rid of my counter top air fryer freeing up my counter space. It also has convection bake and a feature where it can automatically convert the temp or you can do it yourself. I found out when using convection you are supposed to reduce temp by 25°. The automatic feature will do it for you. I also love the fact that you can use this as 2 ovens or as one big one. It automatically changes over to 2 ovens when you put the divider in. When using it as 2 separate ovens, it's best to keep them within 100° of each other. It also comes with a temperature probe. There's so many features that I'm still discovering which makes using this range fun and interesting. It connects to an app that I honestly thought I would never use but actually use it quite often. I work 10 minutes from home so before I leave work I sometimes start preheating my oven so it's ready to pop my dinner in when I get home. This feature is also good because it can tell you if you left your oven on by accident and turn it off. These are just some of my favorite, most often used highlights of this range. You won't be disappointed if you choose this range.

The most notable feature is having a dual oven in the space of a single oven range with the capability to easily change to a full size single oven for baking larger items like a turkey. When baking in the upper oven we use the lower one as a warming drawer. This works great. This setup also frees up the bottom drawer for storing baking pans. The oven air fryer feature is a bonus. We were able to retire our stand-alone air fryer and save counter space. The cooktop is one edgeless glass surface that transitions almost seamlessly to the countertop. I found that cleaning is easy with no cooktop trim to capture spills and crumbs. In setting up the smart features, my phone immediately found the oven after downloading the Samsung app and setup was a piece of cake. The induction cooktop is amazing compared to conventional elements. I Boiled water in a flash but the cooking surface stayed relatively cool. Only the cookware gets hot. Pans Heat evenly if you match the pan size to the heating element size. Make sure that the pots and pans are induction friendly. We had to replace the the ones we had which we not. Samsung provides a magnetic test strip to help verify your cookware is appropriate. One thing to note. The induction elements make a low hum when in use. This is normal and not annoying at all. One last thing. Oven temperature settings are precise and can be set remotely with the app. We preheated the oven while on the way home with a take and bake pizza. This range is the future and highly recommended.

I was super excited to get the 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Slide-In Induction Range with Flex Duo™, Smart Dial & Air Fry and can't stop playing with all the different features. This induction range is as close to professional cooking at home as one can get. First, I loved getting all new pots and pans for the induction function, that is a must for use. A good way to check your pots and pans is to see if a magnet will stick, if so, your good to go. At first glance it is not only beautiful but functional. The knob for the double oven helps simplify what can be a very confusing panel. Being able to clearly scroll through the functions is easy and much more efficient use. The amount of space in the oven is unreal and can feed a small army. This is where the range really shines with the dual convection fans and full use of functions including Keep Warm and Air Fry. My favorite use, however, is the double oven feature. With five of us in the house, somedays everyone in the house could be eating something different. Wow does this help, being able to set different meals at separate times and temperatures cuts down my cooking time. On top of that, when using the double oven the space is smaller and therefore heats and bakes faster. The glass induction cooktop is gorgeous. And since the food that spills over doesn't continue to cook when on the glass, clean up is super easy. Safety was really thought out with this range. I really like the glass cooktop sensor, making sure no burner stays on if there isn't a pot or pan on top. The virtual flame is the coolest thing I've ever seen on a stove, although I do wish it was on every burner. The size of the burners are adequate and make good use of space on the cooktop so that everything necessary can fit when all burners are full. The rapid boil is pretty cool and gets noodles done in minutes. Everyone has been complimentary with my cooking lately, they've even noticed that dinner is done in half the time. This one is a keeper!

Well, it's been a month since I got my range and ph man, what a wonderful product! Not even does it look beautiful in my kitchen (which by the way is not big), but it also does wonders! To start of, I had an air fryer in my counter that was taking too much space, no longer needed as this Samsung range has an air fryer mode, isn't it awesome?!? The split over is also a great feature, let's you cook 2 different things at the same time, different temperature setting, call that time and power saving! Another great feature is the the possibility to link your range with the SmartThins app, I now have control of my range along with my other smart appliances, I can easily set the temperature of not only the top, but the bottom oven, yes, you can have 2 different things cooking at the same time with different temperatures, isn't it awesome? Also, you can track your range usage within the app, that is another cool feature. I would say that my favorite feature of the range is the Self Clean option, something spilled while cooking in the oven? No need to worry about that! The range will take care of the cleaning by itself with the Self Clean option, can your life be any easier than that??? I would never change my new range for another one, definitely a great buy, 10000% recommended!

The Samsung Induction Range exceeds expectations on many levels. First off, it's a very sharp looking appliance, with a modern, classy display coupled with knobs and lighting to make it really look like a gas stovetop! More importantly, it truly works like gas. If you're like me, where a gas range isn't an option, but you wish it were, you won't be disappointed. I admit that I was somewhat leery of the whole concept of induction cooking due to the limitations of pot/pan selections, but the payoff is well worth it. Food heats and cooks more evenly and the burners stay cooler while the actual pan "inducts" the heat. Water boils quickly due to a super-fast heating burner, and the stovetop temp can be just as quickly lowered by adjusting a knob to a lower setting. The air fryer oven feature is ingenious! I was able to ditch my countertop air fryer altogether, as the oven works much better to evenly cook and crisp foods for healthier preparation. One of my favorite features is once you start to "fry" in the oven, a display automatically begins with a countdown of how long your food has been cooking. So often I forget to set a timer, and this is no longer an issue with this auto-timer feature! As an added Smart feature, I can have Alexa control the oven with voice commands. If I had to have one critique of the range, it would be that moving and removing trays/shelves can be somewhat burdensome to transition from using the whole oven or the top/bottom half of the oven. However, if that's the tradeoff to have all the flexibility of air fry, convection, bake, etc., it's worth the extra effort. There is also excellent storage space in the bottom drawer to accommodate any trays that need to be temporarily stored. In summary, this Samsung range is amazing -- the functionality and features of the stovetop and dual oven-modes make cooking a real pleasure!

Samsung Flex-Duo is Amazing

I've owned electric ranges my whole life. I've used gas ranges in the past, but never owned one. This is the closest experience to cooking on a gas range that I've ever experienced. Gone are the days when you try to go from a boil down to a simmer over minutes. With this stove, it is as close to the quick gas stove experience that I've ever seen. There are a total of 4 burners, with one large one that has LED lights that illuminate on the pad that you are cooking from. It is a neat feature to make you feel like you have a gas stove, without actually having a gas stove. Since it uses induction, you need to have pans that are magnetic. Most of ours were already compatible, but we did need to replace a few. This is something to keep in mind when shopping for new cookware. The induction works by heating the pan, not the actual cook surface. This makes splatter cleanup a lot easier since it doesn't cook on the surface. I've found a simple wipe down with a washcloth is more than sufficient to keep things clean. On my old glass cooktop that wasn't induction, I had to use a special cooktop cleaner and scrub a lot. The Flex-Duo is a nice feature. You can have 2 different things cooking at the same time and at different temperatures. Since it is Flex, you can also remove the center divider and use the whole oven. There are several new features with this oven that I've never seen in an oven before. The Flex-Duo has an air-fry and dehydrator feature. We are now able to get rid of our air fryer appliance. Since this is in the oven, you have a lot more air fryer space than you would with a separate appliance. The air fryer mesh tray is included! There is also a steam clean feature for cleaning the oven. This is a much lower temperature alternative than the self-clean option. This is a fantastic range that has definitely enhanced our cooking experience in the kitchen.

pros: cooktop – 4 burner sizes of 6", (2) 7" and 11" with an ultra express boil induction burner (11"). heat range from 1200w (6") to 4200w (11"), the virtual flames technology (11") shine on cookware to mimic the flames. cleaning is very easy since the induction cooking surface heats only the cookware. the 4 blue illuminated knobs let one know if the cooktop is on. finally, the smart dial controls everything from the cooktop to the ovens. oven – the large 6.3 cu. ft. flex duo oven has 2 ovens to cook two different items at two different temperatures. the powerful convention+ dual fans decrease the time. the air fry with no pre-heating comes with an air fry tray. compatible with the smartthings app & any virtual assistance available by voice commands. con: induction cookware is a must.

I think I've been abducted by aliens, cause this stove is out of this world! I absolutely love it. It looks gorgeous, sleek, and modern. The induction cook top is great. My old range would take 20 min to boil a small pot of water. This range water starts to boil within a minute or two. It's truly amazing, and time saving. Nice safety feature with the induction cook top if you dont have a pan on the burner and you accidentally turn the burner on, the burner wont start if it doesn't detect a pan. The oven is spacious and cooks evenly. Having the option to use upper oven and lower oven at different temperatures is great. I have to say my favorite option is the air fry option. Cooks fast, evenly, and food turns out amazing. Oven gets up to temp very quick. Another great feature is the smart things intergration. I can start to pre heat the oven from my couch via my phone in the smart things app. It will tell you if the oven is on, or if the oven was turned off. So if you leave the oven on and go to work, you can check your phone to see if you left it on, and turn it off via the app. Which is convenient, and a great safety feature. I also love that the rack is on a track and slides out of the oven, making it a lot easier to pull out a heavy pan. It's the little details like that, that makes this range such a pleasure to cook on. They have really thought of the user and keeping things simple and convenient. The Samsung Flex Duo is packed with great features and is a gorgeous addition to my kitchen. I didn't think i would be this excited about getting a range, but now that i have it, I cant control my excitement. Ive been using it non stop since we received it. Setting it up was a breeze, and operation is simple and straight forward. Now the only problem is trying to figure out what great recipes I'm going to try next. If you are trying to decide weather or not to buy a Samsung range, buy it! You wont be disappointed. I'm in love with my range.

i bought a samsung flex duo slide-in electric range 7 months ago. last week i noticed scratches on cooking element. tried cleaning and nothing happened. called samsung and repairman said there was nothing they could do - its cosmetic. called 1-800- samsung and was told the same. the stove looks great and the oven cooks well but i'm so unhappy with the scratches after such a short time, especially since it's black, the scratches are very obvious.. we are a retired couple and i don't cook as much as i used to when i was raising a family. samsung did not stand behind their product and i will never buy another samsung appliance. i had a kitchenaid for 16 years and the cooktop was perfect.
